"Using travel scenery to evoke memories and emotional resonance"

For me, the landscapes I use as creative material might be everyday scenes for some, but strange and unfamiliar to others. The reason travel destinations often remain beautiful memories is because the joy of the moment is remembered along with the scenery. Even if the weather was hot, the warmth of the summer sun remains in the memory or photograph; even a cold winter day can become romantic in memory. I divide the canvas into different planes, constructing the whole in a flat, blocky way. Through these works, I hope to spark the viewer's curiosity about these places and share the emotions I felt when facing these landscapes during my travels.
